Sawyer turns 3!!

Sawyer turned 3 on June 29th! Wow how time flies. It seems like just yesterday he was born! We sure love this kid!!

We decided to have the party over at my parent's neighborhood pool. We set up canopies and a BBQ and had so much fun! My brother-n-law Jay's birthday was the day before so we combined them and had one fun afternoon!

I saw this amazing cake when we went to a birthday party earlier this year. Sawyer has done nothing but talk about his birthday and wanting that very same cake! He was super excited!!

Matching PJ's

These are Sawyer's favorite PJ's right now! He is way into anything pirate and would wear these all day if I would let him!

Since Soy loved them so much, I decided to buy a matching pair for the baby. I was expecting the baby to be another boy and he sure didn't disappoint! We tried it on Gwen just to see how cute they'll be!! They sure are cute cousins!!

For those who don't know...my sister married my husband's brother...that makes these kiddos double cousins!!

Random June Fun

June has been a crazy busy month! Lots of great weather makes for less time inside and less blogging! Sawyer has been enjoying having all his cousins and Uncle Chum around. We spend most of our afternoons at my parents house hanging out.

Sawyer has stopped taking afternoon naps, which has actually been nice for the summer. It makes for earlier nights, but we don't mind. One evening we spent working on our yard and after I came in to check on Soy I noticed he was fast asleep on our couch watching TV. He rarely ever just crashes...so these are rare moments at our house!!


This beauty is one of the many reason we venture over to Grandma and Grandpa's house everyday!! She sure is cute!!


Sawyer wanted to try dad's new headlamp on....


On Father's Day Sawyer was trying out a skateboard and ended up falling off right on his forehead on the cement! Quite the bonk-abonk as he and Aunt Headow call it....


It has healed fine and we're hoping that Sawyer has learned to be a bit more careful!!

Swim Fun

We have been spending most of our free time on sunny days at my parent's neighborhood pool. It's been great having my sister Heather back in town to go with. My older sister's kids and our brother in law Chum love to come and help with the kiddos! It's great fun!!

Happy Father's Day

We had a fun filled weekend for Father's Day. Saturday we celebrated with the Arnells by having yummy steak for dinner and then Saturday we got together with Rickers.

I got cute matching ties for Josh and Sawyer to wear for the occasion.

Josh has been begging me to buy the poor kid a tie so I got the thumbs up for being a super cool mom!! Soy was so excited to give it to him and be twins!!

I am so grateful for Josh and all he does for our family! He is definitely a keeper and we are so lucky to have him!!
